At NLC, you can expect a friendly smile and a warm greeting when you first come through the doors. Beginning with Sunday School, there are classes for children as well as 2 Adult Electives. Our Kids Church is an engaging time for children ages 7-12! For children from ages 3-6, we also have a Jr. Kids Church, as well as a staffed nursery for children under 3.
Our worship time, led by our Worship Director, Lorin Phillips and the talented individuals who make up our worship team and band, is a time for you to be able to connect with God on a personal level while glorifying the name of the Lord! Because we believe New Life is a "hospital" for the hurting, we give time and emphasis to praying for one another. Pastor Rob's messages are challenging, yet practical, as he points you towards Biblical principals that apply to some of life's toughest issues, culminating in a time of commitment and dedication.
On Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM, we feature a Topical Bible Study for adults in the sanctuary. Taught by Pastor Rob, this study allows for a more in-depth focus on topics of spiritual growth and maturity. Some past topics include a study of the Book of Acts, Focus On The Family's "The Truth Project" and Spiritual Gifts. For boys and young men, we feature Royal Rangers, a mentoring ministry which offers character and servant leadership education to boys and young men (K-12) in a highly relational, fun, and interactive environment. For girls, we offer Mpact Girls Clubs, which encompasses Sunlight Kids, Rainbows Club, Daisies, Prims and Stars Club. Teen girls can take part in Teen Girl Ministries, which includes Friends and Girls Only.
On Friday evenings at 7:00 PM, our young people in grades 6 through 12 come together for Outrageous Youth Ministry, led by Youth Leader Jeremias Garcia. Featuring energetic praise and worship, games, multi-media and general craziness, our young people are challenged by JG as he’s affectionately called to live boldly for God and to live out their faith wherever they are, including their School Campuses. As you can see, there is something for the entire family at New Life, and with additional opportunities to serve such as short-term Missions, seasonal Dramas, Men's & Women's ministries, Life Groups and more, you have the chance to find your purpose in God's kingdom.
